About the Role:
Soccer Shots - San Diego East County is looking for an energetic and passionate Youth Soccer Instructor to join our team part-time! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of soccer with the reward of making a positive impact on young children's lives. Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for young children in a safe and encouraging environment
- Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and coordination through fun drills and games
- Foster positive character development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among young players
- Manage group dynamics and maintain classroom-style control during sessions
- Communicate progress and updates with parents and guardians in a professional manner
- Set up and break down equipment before and after each session
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to deliver a high-energy, structured curriculum
Requirements:
- Passion for working with young children and a natural ability to connect with kids
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude
- Must be able to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus or willingness to obtain
- Lift and transport sports equipment (approx. 40 pounds)
- Valid Drivers License with clean record and car, willing to drive to classes all over San Diego
- Available at least two weekdays and Saturdays
- 1-year commitment
- Proof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire OR proof of a negative TB test within 2 weeks after date of hire

Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized youth soccer program dedicated to delivering premier soccer experiences that positively impact children's lives. Our San Diego East County franchise proudly serves and partners with Preschools, Elementary Schools, and Public Parks, bringing high-quality coaching and character-building curriculum to kids ages 18 mo–10 yo. Our coaches love being part of a mission-driven team where every session is a chance to inspire the next generation on and off the field.
Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
